If you feel there is any way in which we can improve our service to you, or if there are any problems you would like to discuss, please speak to the Practice Manager or tell our receptionist or your doctor.
We believe that problems are best dealt with within the practice. However, if you feel there is a problem which you wish to take up outside, you may prefer to contact the Health and Community Services Complaints Commissioner.
NOTIFICATION RE: TELE-CONSULTATIONS
From Monday 30th March 2020, we will shift to delivering mostly tele-consultations.
As such, we will only examine people in person by invitation. This might seem extreme, but it is likely that in the coming weeks that more widespread social isolation or home quarantine will be necessary as a result of COVID-19. We don't want to alarm you, but we do want you to be prepared for the changes that we will make to your care at this practice.
A large proportion of routine care can be performed via telehealth. Over the next few months, we may delay some routine preventative health care such as skin checks, routine pap smears, chronic disease care plans, and routine physical examinations, which can wait for a time when the community risks are lower. Please also remember that even if you have cold or flu symptoms, at the moment, it is more likely that it isn’t COVID-19. Testing is strictly limited to people who fit the criteria set by the Australian Government. If you are sick, please stay home until you have been well for at least 48 hours.
