Biography

Rajib graduated from India in 1997, spent initial part of his career in different branches of Medicine and Intensive care. Spent 10 yrs working around Manchester, UK in Elderly Care and General Practice. Adelaide has been his home over past 3 years.

Rajib is a Royal College Tutor (Royal Australian College of General Practice) and RACGP examiner and enjoys learning while teaching.

He has special interests in:

  • Dermatology and performs regular excisions on sun spots and suspicious lesions/skin cancers.
  • Chronic disease management like diabetes, hypertension, osteoarthritis, low back pain, asthma, COPD and weight management.
  • Geriatric Medicine (Care of the elderly)
  • Child Health
  • Mental health
  • Men’s Health
  • Aesthetic/Cosmetic medicine
  • Languages spoken other than English – Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Bhojpuri and Nepali.

Outside Medicine photography, playing music, singing and travel are his passion.

Fees update

As of 17th July  2023, our fees have increased slightly. There will be a small gap payment on all consults for those who are over the age of 16 and do not have a concession.
Bulk billing will also no longer be available on weekends.

Why is there a gap?

The Medicare rebate does not fully cover the cost of providing good quality care. The rebate has been kept at the same level for many years whilst costs have increased much more.
Therefore, from 1 January 2023, you will need to pay a gap fee for your consult. Please click here for more information.
