Fees

About our fees

All our consultations are bulk billed.

We offer Medicare Online Claiming, so any Medicare Rebate can be paid directly to your bank account immediately, as long as you have a savings account card.

Additional fees

Procedures, such as skin lesion removal, are subject to an additional fee of $30 for treatment room costs. More complicated minor surgery will incur a higher fee which will be explained by your GP.

Mirena insertion fee $171.70, Medicare rebate $71.70, gap payable $100.

Iron infusion fee $145.75, Medicare rebate $75.75, gap payable $70.00 $70.00)

Cancellations

Please call us if you cannot attend your appointment.

We work hard to provide our patients with exceptional care. If you cannot attend your appointment, please call us to cancel it so we can make that time available to another patient needing our help.

Please understand that we assign highly trained nurses and doctors for these appointments, and there are many other patients who would appreciate this time. With appropriate notice, we can give your appointment to someone else.

Fees for unattended appointments will be charged as follows:

Weekdays
$15.00 fee for appointment not cancelled within 2 hours of the scheduled appointment time.

Saturdays
$20.00 fee for appointment not cancelled within 2 hours of the scheduled appointment time.

Care Plan appointments
$20.00 fee for a Care Plan appointment not cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time.

New Patients

We are currently not able to accept new patients due to being at capacity. We hope to re-open new patient bookings in the very near future.

COVID-19 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before calling our clinic or booking an appointment with your GP, please take a moment to read through these Frequently Asked Questions. They have been developed to help answer some general questions you might have about COVID-19. The information provided is correct as of 13th January 2022.

COVID-19 Vaccinations

Elizabeth Family Health has been selected by the Australian Government to supply COVID-19 vaccines to eligible patients. Check your eligibility, or visit www.health.gov.au for more information. If you have further personal questions about eligibility or the COVID-19 vaccination, please book a regular or telephone consult with your usual GP.

Coronavirus Health Alert

The threat level of COVID-19 in South Australia is escalated. For the safety of our patients and staff, we encourage telephone appointments (where possible).
If a face-to-face appointment is required, it will be time-limited, and we request that all patients wear a face mask while in the clinic.
We also observe social distancing >1.5m and limit the number of patients in our waiting room.
If you have symptoms of the flu, a cold, or a loss of sense of smell or taste, then a COVID-19 test is necessary. Please refer to the SA Health website for a list of COVID-19 clinics and testing centres.
If you are unwell and have respiratory symptoms, please ask for a telephone appointment with a GP, and a safe review will be arranged.
The Government has restricted Medicare GP telehealth items to circumstances where a patient has COVID-19 and/or is a close contact and is required to quarantine or isolate under a state directive, or where there is an existing relationship with a general practice (i.e., the patient has visited a GP in the practice face-to-face in the last 12 months), children aged under 12 months, or patients who are homeless. Please be aware that a private fee may be incurred for telephone or video consults.
