- Chronic Disease Management
After graduating from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2015, Dr Chiu embarked on her family medicine training in the public sector in Hong Kong. During that period, she worked in various specialities in the public hospital before working as a GP in an urban clinic. She completed her training and qualified FRACGP in 2021. She subsequently moved to Adelaide in 2022 in the pursuit of a more extensive role as a general practitioner. She enjoys working in all aspects of General Practice with a particular interest in chronic disease management.
Apart from English, Dr Chiu speaks Cantonese and Mandarin as well. She enjoys hiking and travelling in her leisure time.
Our specialist GPs are registered with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. All of our doctors undertake continuing professional development.
Our doctors have varied areas of special interests and provide a wide range of services, in a friendly, relaxed environment.
Extra Medicare benefits are now available to eligible patients who have registered with the Australian Government’s MyMedicare. To register or learn more about how MyMedicare can benefit you, click here.
Our bulk-billing policy has changed. Bulk billing will only be available to children under 16 and DVA Cardholders for an appointment during regular business hours. For patients outside of these groups, there will be a small out-of-pocket expense for most consultations. We will continue to bulk-bill all Health Assessment and Chronic Disease Management Plans. This decision has not been made lightly, and is necessary due to the ongoing discrepancy between operating a general practice clinic and low increases to Medicare rebates offered by the Federal Government. A full list of fees is available at Reception. Please speak with our team if you have any questions.
