Appointment Information
An appointment is required to be seen at the surgery. Please call our receptionist to make an appointment or book online. We do not accept walk-in patients, unless it is a medical emergency. We keep a number of appointments open each day for patients who are sick and need to be seen quickly. To get access to these appointments please ring our receptionist at 8.00am.
Test results
Unless organised otherwise with your doctor, please make an appointment to discuss results of tests. You can ring for the results of urine samples, cervical screening, and pregnancy tests.
Please note, the Doctors at Family Health Medical Group will not prescribe Schedule 8 Drugs and Drugs of Addiction (including opiates and benzodiazepines) to new patients at their first appointment.
New patients that come to us already established on S4/S8/drugs of dependence will have a review with their new doctor to discuss this treatment. We do not prescribe these drugs at a first appointment and also require access to previous medical records to allow us to discuss if they are appropriate for continuation.

Doctors at this practice do not use email communication with patients for confidentiality reasons. Doctors do use encrypted electronic communication between other medical specialists, which ensures confidentiality for your information.

A fee will be charged for your request that cannot be reimbursed by Medicare.
