Adult ADHD Assessment & Management Service
Golden Grove Family Health is pleased to introduce a new Adult ADHD diagnostic and management service for patients aged between 18 and 50 years at present.
Dr Gupta has been accredited to diagnose and manage ADHD in adults. Dr Gupta has been involved in the care of adults with ADHD for several years and is listed on the Adelaide Adult ADHD community website as a recommended clinician.
ADHD assessment is a comprehensive medical evaluation, and a diagnosis cannot be confirmed before completion of the assessment. Stimulant medication is not automatic and depends on diagnosis, clinical history and safety considerations. Assessment includes a review of substance use history. School reports (if available) are valuable in supporting diagnosis.
An AI medical scribe will assist documentation to allow consultation time to focus on discussion. Patient consent is required and all documentation is reviewed by Dr Gupta.

An additional assessment appointment (30–45 minutes, depending on complexity) may be required and will be charged according to the consultation length rates above.

Diagnostic and management report to the patient’s GP available from $150 (private fee).
Ongoing Care & Prescribing Model
Dr Gupta has limited capacity for long-term ADHD care; most patients return to their usual GP after assessment and treatment planning. Short-term follow-up to stabilise medication is available if required ($150 / 30 min). Existing patients continue ongoing care.
Booking & Cancellation Policy
Appointments must be paid in advance. At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule; late cancellation or non-attendance incurs an 80% fee
