Dr Jennifer Lau

Dr Jennifer Lau provides holistic, patient-centred care and enjoys supporting patients with their health at every stage of life. She has a particular interest in preventative health, acute medical conditions, and mother and child health.

Dr Jennifer completed her medical studies at the University of New South Wales in 2013. She has worked in hospitals locally and overseas and completed her General Practice training in rural South Australia.

Her areas of interest include iron deficiency and anaemia, GP obstetric shared care, and Recreational and Commercial Dive Medicals, which are completed over two appointments.

Outside of medicine, Dr Jennifer volunteers at aged care facilities with her therapy dog and enjoys scuba diving off Australia’s beautiful beaches.

Please note that Dr Jennifer Lau does not prescribe strong pain medicines, opioids or sleeping tablets. Patients requiring ongoing prescriptions for these medicines are encouraged to make an appointment with their usual GP.
